The motor I intended to use needed more attention than I had time for. Built a new engine and finished it over the weekend.

Just finished spraying and installing the new Tri-Mil Bobcat Sidewinder. Looking forward to hearing it rumble... only 2 spring retainers, and a valve adjustment away.

Picked up my seats few days ago:

They were intended as early Mustang seats but the deminsions were just right.
They recline, allow access to gear in the rear and no bolsters (my a$$ fits).

RAT, I like your oil filter mount - sideways.

SoCal67Volks' mount looks trick with the fancy hoses but is begging to get knocked off. I wonder how much time an engine has if the filter gets dislodged? Nice seat tho' ..not so fancy they fight for your attention.

RAT: I have the same on mine. You need a skid pan and then there is nothing to worry about.

thanks, I would like to have a vertical oil filter (it's better to fill up when replacing for a new one), but I don't like the hoses that involve the remote filter, I much prefer the oil pump/filter arrangement all in one
my off roading is very limited at this point, so a skid pan is over kill, but would be an easy fit with my bumper as I left it lower than the motor to protect it for impact

Got the tires mounted on the widened and powder coated stock rims to match the 10" rears.
