Those are from the VW training centers.
Here's a T3 story from "school"
I went to VW "general repair" 1 week of training in 1970. They had a running T3 motor with dual carbs and we were all taught how to sync the carbs at idle & throttle up, plus how to adjust the linkage. Then the teacher would have us leave the room, so he could screw it up to have us come back in to fix it. Well, on the 3rd or 4th time to go out, the teacher just switched 2 plug wires. Needless to say, the teacher had to finally show us what he did |

Hey, that was standard procedure at VW school. But then we got to play stump the teacher.
I knew ahead of time about this "test" and took a piece of vacuum hose that looked exactly like a coil wire. It even had the metal ends on it. We finally had to show him what we had done. _________________ Society is like stew. If you don't keep it stirred up, you end up with a lot of scum on the top!--Edward Abbey
