Question for you all. I purchased a bunch of VW doors, hood, decklids, etc today, some Bus and Beetle. I was offered a rolling pan from a 57 Beetle and a Bus frame that the Beetle is sitting on top of.
Do you see any value in the bus frame? Not great photos, but the best I could get. Trying to decide if I want to hassle getting them both.
Thanks.

There are folks looking for frame repair sections due to rust. If you have the room to store it, you would likely be able to part it out as it looks pretty dry. You might not make any money on it, but you cold help some folks with their projects. _________________ nothing |

Is a gutted, primered panel with hacked-in mobile home windows really worth that much? I must be way out of touch. _________________ nothing |

This would seem a good deal on face...I wish the 'new member' owner would have posted more photos of the problem areas, but my hunch is they are honest and weren't really sure what they needed to include...perhaps I'm wrong.

I would suspect that your hunch is right. $7500 for a Euro Delivery SO44 seems pretty fair to me. From the description it seems like the rust is on the outriggers not frame
The bodywork is 20-30 years old so rust cannot be that bad.. carpe diem |

The author of the ad should be congratulated for reading what the condition ratings say. It is in "poor" condition. In countries with vehicle inspection this bus would never pass...
seems like a somewhat reasonable price for what it is. _________________ regards

Seems like a good deal. I know what it isn't. But what it is, is a sweet full length rack. Should sell quick. _________________ 53 Hatch Barndoor
