Linda, ma'am, that thing surely does not belong in the good deals thread. It's dashhacked and c-rusty. My bet is he'll be lucky to get 5k for it- and it is far from "3" condition. _________________

PO contacted me a couple days ago to say he was cleaning out the attic and had a box of "VW stuff" and wondered if I was interested. Hell yes I am!! Go over there today and it's full of goodies. Original jack, knobs, gaskets, fuses, fuel filters, door handles, seat belts, original owner's manual, Solex carb (looks new) and even a Bentley manual. Spreading the aloha, so what I won't use I'll donate to our VW club. Great start to my Sunday |

After looking at all the 13 window offerings in the classifieds, this seems a good deal to me...it's missing the interior and deluxe trim, but is a walkthrough with what appears to be a solid body...with the exception of the cargo door rocker.
+ the seller is looking for an offer he can't refuse...

While I usually gripe in the complaints thread, I felt I should balance out my whines with a praise. This looks like a great deal and is priced very good. I am surprised that it didn't go pending the first day it was posted.
