In no particular order-

Kienzle ashtray clock
Kienzle rearview mirror clock
1950-55 Mekra horn clock
1956-59 Kunika horn clock
1953-57 Perohaus-labeled dash clock
1953-57 Motormeter Rallye Package
Pre '60 trip speedometer
Petri multi-control Banjo styeering wheel
Okrassa TSV/1300

.....& for some strange reason, I've always liked the Chrome hood handle gaurd.

I've got 3 Pre '55-sized dealer frames actually. One frame has just "Volkswagen" at the bottom. One is of Wolf Motors/San Diego and the other is actusally a Porsche dealership Competition Motors/Hollywood.
Yes, I had my YOM plates at the Classic back in '04.

Hey Glenn,

I just want to see it as it's one of the few frames I HAVEN'T found YET Wink That's such an early frame and I've been ALL OVER NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Hollywood, Beverly Hill's etc...... and I have yet to find one let alone know what it looks like so Hook it up Bro I would appreciate it Very Happy

I'll get around to it one of these days. I think they take away from the clean lines of the rear window. The frame is so thick it's not attractive. IMO

I agree with Bob on the split popouts, and actually if I were to start a "least favorite accessory" thread, these so-called "split popouts" (all varieties 50-54 with the wide frame), would be the least favorite accessory (especially at their street price). Everything about them is too oversized, frames, hinges, knobs, they are a bear to install, just too little clearance for that bulky hinge to clear the inner metal frame. Worst of all though, once you install these they are staying permanent to the car, unless of course you decide to take them off and replace the headliner.

Keep that point in mind, eventually all cars get sold for whatever reason, and with a set of these popouts actually on a car, unless you are replacing that headliner ($$$ just to recover the 6 hinge holes), you are basically conceding them selling with the car, and you are going to lose big money, or big money either way the minute you decide to actually install them. So, not only are split popouts a clunky albatross, they are both expensive to get and expensive to get rid of. I had a mint set of these and gladly traded them away for a mint 3 piece original luggage set, and couldn't be happier with how the luggage looks in the back of my split.

I love VW Fender Skirts. I have an awesome rare set of Perfections on my Zwitter.
Also love the helphos search/spotlight and the dash mounted split fan using the accessory plug socket.

You must have taken a pic of another car. When I had my '54 at the Classic in '04, it had the 1951-55 plates on it. Unless I had a later yellow plate with the VW moniker on it? The only YOM 1956-62 plates I have read "VWR 049"
