Yeah Bro I seriously need to see the Competition Motor's frame Cuz I've been searching like a mutha for that freakin frame I've found all the competition motor's frames except the early one |
Yeah, let's see some pictures. |
alright, I am going to be the first one to call bullshit on this. if it really existed, Glenn would have already showed us a photo. |
well, keep in mind that rare air has more lies on this site than I have total posts!
having said that, this would be the perfect opportunity to prove me wrong. Just make sure the picture includes some sort of ID so we can verify it wasnt taken off the internet somewhere..... |

I could get Lind to "photo shop" a picture and that still would not prove anything. I really don't believe they were ever made. I want to see one.....up close and personal. _________________ "What a fool believes he sees, no wise man has the power to reason away." Dobee, Dobee, Do |

He is probably at home cutting a "Beverly Hills Precision Motors" and a "Woodland Hills Competition Motors" in half and JB Welding the two halves together to make a "Beverly Hills Competition Motors" plate frame that he can take a picture of.

I just can't believe that Glenn is passing up this perfect opportunity to prove doveblue3, UZI, Lind, etc. all wrong in one fell swoop. must be bullshit. _________________ .

Well...back to the topic at hand...
I'm pretty new to all of this accessories stuff, but there are a few I've always liked over the years so I'll post them here...
Empi GTV wood wheel - have one!
VDO late 50's early 60's dash mount accessory tach - have one, installed in my '56.
Original VDO Type 3 dash tach - never seen one in person, just pictures.
Porsche Fuchs wheels - have them.
Sparkomatic VW Shifter - sounds kind of wierd I know... have one in my Fastback, wouldn't mind another one. Had one in my VW as a kid.
Pop out windows.
Empi / VW glove compartment pull handle.
Empi bumper extensions - don't know the real name for them, they bolt to the front bumper. Not the overriders, on the front bumper they would bolt to it and stick out in front of the bumper. They're chrome and spring steel.
Motometer 3 in 1 gauge - with senders.
Ashtray with the clock built into it.
Rear view mirror with clock.
That's about all I can think of at the moment.
Regards,
Tom C. _________________ '69 Fastback - automatic - 'Flamer'
