Thanks for the radio Mike! Rocket fast shipping! Everything exactly as described. Just what I needed to fill that big hole in the center of my dash.

Sorry for posting here but I have sent you a couple of emails and PM's. Do you know your email is sending out spam?

Bought a set of rebuilt 45 Dell's from Mike at a VERY good price. Communication of the sale was good. Upon shipping he realized a piece of the linkage was missing so he emailed me that day and told me he'd get the piece before sending it. After a few days he emailed me again and told me he had recieved the missing piece and shipped it that day. To my surprise he had replaced the whole linkage assembly with a brand new steel hex-bar setup and brand new hardware kit still in the wrapper!
I got more than my money's worth out of the deal and would buy from him again in a heartbeat.
Thanks a bunch Mike, the carb's look great! |

That's odd....I paid him through PayPal for a set of Dellorto 48's.....also told me that he realised a piece of linkage was missing ....got an e mail saying he got the piece......still have not gotten the tracking number from him to let me know they have shipped.....they were paid for 13 days ago.....
So far not a very good experience........maybe that will change... _________________ Good things come to those who wait.

Delivery time is very slow but the carbs I got are beautiful and just as described. Dual Dellorto 48's! New linkage....new air cleaners and completely rebuilt... _________________ Good things come to those who wait.

Okay.....turns out the carbs weren't rebuilt correctly....and that they were very gritty on the inside.....shaft bearings were bad ....but, I really can't complain about it very much.....they are beautiful 48mm dellorto's! even having to pay to get them rebuilt correctly and they're still a good deal.....Not exactly as described, but oh well....they will work just fine _________________ Good things come to those who wait.

I'm looking over some of his ads for parts that aren't easily shipped. What city is he located in? _________________ -Tim

This guy seems a bit flaky to me. I emailed to ask where he was located because I was looking at fenders, so pick up is obviously preferred. I had to ask more than once to get him to tell me. I ask about the condition of a fender and all he says is "original paint." Oh...Kay. Then he promised me pictures of the fender we discussed. Emailed March 23 to tell me he'd have them the next day; five days later there has been no further communication.
This kind of behavior seems common with folks here selling fenders. They won't tell you where they are, they won't ship, they won't provide an estimated shipping cost, etc.
Someone else will get my money then. _________________ -Tim

Has anyone had recent business with Mr. Moses? I notice he has no adds at present on theSamba. I understand delivery can be slow from him. I purchased a radio and it has been 15 days since I sent payment through PayPal to him. I understand some of us dance to a different drummer of course. I also understand that for the most part folks are happy with what they get from him and that it takes some time arrive. Worried in Upland. |

The radio showed up today 15 days after the order was placed. It arrived as described. Mike sent the radio though the USPS and the tracking number the USPS supplied didn't work to track the package. The face plate and backing plate supplied did not allow me to install the shaft nuts and attach to my dash.
Mike believed it is the right face and backing plates, but I couldn't get them to work. I had another style dash face plate that by luck I was able to modify to work. The radio works although being an old AM doesn't perform as well of course as a modern radio would. I adjusted the trim screw and the sound was great. It does look much better in my dash then the RetroSound unit I tried at first. The RetroSound has lots of features but must be connected to a hot power supply or loose all the settings. Retro didn't mention this when I purchased from them in Chino. As I park my car for long periods of time and disconnect the battery this was a pain. All in all I am happy with my purchase. Funny how the day I start to worry things came together. Thank you Mr. Moses. |

I sent Mike money for a radio 8 days ago. I received an email from him that he got the payment, but I haven't heard anything since. No shipping, no status, and no reply to three of emails...
He was quick to respond to the first set of emails but after payment was sent, all I received is silence so far. Not sure what's up. _________________ Henry |
