Clyde's Pics from Lake Greeson , Arkansas...
Several miles of back woods trails to get to this spot... At times i thought even Clyde couldn't make it in there... I know a stock bus won't...
Clyde's View....

Man, that's absolutely gorgeous!!! You don't know how bad I envy you.
Was that bus lowered to start with, or is that the effect of a "well used" roof rack?
Either way that's a great looking ride.

thanks klauss , the bus its lowered one spine at rear and cut and turn on front just so it handles a bit better in the wind .........it looks lower due to being away for 3 weeks and having loads of gear and having a wife and four kids on board .......3 teens (they get heavier every year and one baby
ive put a thread up of the trip in the main bit
take it easy

If you guys were to say, do that again, I can think of at least one other Sage Green and possibly two that would join you. _________________ Oppenhiem

Great pics, bigbore.
Sure is some beautiful country!
That thing in the last picture almost looks like an old Honda 3-wheeler . . . It can't be, cause I thought the government outlawed them there death-traps. Glad they're looking out for us, or we'd all be dead!

Yeah, I saw that 3-wheeler too. I don't think I've seen one since about 1986! I think it's illegal to make and/or sell them commercially, but you can still own one if you have it... something like that. _________________ 78 Kombi, 65 Bug, 69 Baja Bug, 63 Camper Van, 66 Bug, 72 Bug, 60 Ghia |

Not up here I have been riding the old 3 wheeler (its a 1984) for years and this one is in mint condition and like a honda runs like it too. see that 100 pound block of coal sitting on its rack? this area was a old coal mine and it still laying all over it makes a nice warm fire. there are still places that old 3 wheeler will go the 4 wheelers can't. _________________ where its cold and snowy |

My wife and I, in our 63 Dormobile, and a couple of friends in their 72 double cab, drove to Ponto do Ouro in southern Mozambique for a long weekend break last weekend.
Ponto do Ouro is a coastal resort accessible only via sandy tracks through the bush. Generally, only 4x4s drive there and we were the only 4x2s we saw all weekend. Our buses did get lots of compliments from the 4x4 guys and just about everyone else.
