I might see a little dove blue at 11 o'clock... a couple inches north of the emblem.... and upper perimeter of passenger's headlight bucket.... and upper interior of driver's side headlight bucket.

picture nerds we are

I still say dove blue. Add the light grey color is on top of bondo that pealing off. Look at the very top of the center windshield post and the back of drivers side headlight bucket below the dash. Way too dark for light grey. Factory primer delivered bus, maybe but guessing it's faded dove blue as it turns chalky looking like primer

Friday when I go back, I can get the m codes, but it looks factory grey inside in places. Getting my finances moved around so I can showup with enough cash for all 3 buses.

Show's ya what I know about buses. Never owned one before, so I really just know the basics between barndoor, small window and large window buses. What year did they start m codes? 1959? I could swear I saw mcodes on the last bus I tried to get , and it was an august 58

Mid august of 58. Also, if you look behind the seat, the number stamped won't match the actually engine compartment VIN, thats the body number! Laughing . Gotta love volkswagen!!

Finally had a chance to pick one of these up today after making the deal late last fall. Now I just need to find time to pick up the Kombi and the oval that remain.

So that's why its called the time machine. Think You step in with the promise of candy and step out 2 years later changed and mentally damaged. I was sitting here thinking that THE TIME MACHINE just sends everyone back to the 80's-90's nostalgia. Laughing
