I have been toying with the idea lately of what to do with my '66 Bubbletop. Not sure if I want to restore it original, take it back to stock (not a camper) or sell it. Any input is welcome. Thanks!

Not sure. I cannot find any info on this thing or the company that built it. I do remeber seeing one in a VW Trends or other mag a ton of years ago, but all I can remeber about it was something about a company that took stock standards and created this. That's all I know.
Thanks...

Another model was called the Freedom Camper, fittingly nicknamed the snowtop due to
the large originally white fiberglass roof extension (easy to identify due to roof.) These
campers had really gorgeous woodwork on the inside. My favorite U.S. conversion.

I agree....buff out that paint (i bet it would turn out nice) clean up the interior, and enjoy it, if your not a "camper" guy then sell it and buy a passenger bus, with the prices of campers recently, there is no reason why (once cleaned up of course) that your camper wouldnt bring enough cash to buy a nice passenger bus _________________ These are not the New Old Stock parts you are looking for...

That's what I'm leaning towards...I was told by the person I bought it from 8 years ago, who was the 2nd owner, that the paint is original. |

2.5" dropped spindles
Straight axle kit out back.....

I've messed with the paint in the past and it does clean up nice, but it fades again very fast. Do you know how to stop or delay this? |

either get into polishing your bus all the time which will wear the paint out or leave it faded. i say leave it faded. shine is over rated.
i've seen people clearcoat over faded paint bus i don't like the idea of it. i'm pretty sure in time the clearcoat will start lifting off. _________________ Extravagant Lifestyle

Imagine what you find when you just open your eyes and look. I've owned this thing for 8 years and never paid much attention to these little tags on the side of the bus just under the passenger door. hmmm...Just as will-g said...FREEDOM CAMPER...
You think the S110 is the 110th unit built?
