Thats far too late to have the wire or "round" wiper arms. Yours are the later flat type.

as you, I heard and seen that specs on the flat arm type

OK im late to the party here but im seeing some good info in this thread ....im working on 51 bug wipers . i go to put on this second base and its different from the other . both use the round arms .... ( the empty screw holes are not threaded ). one of em doesnt want to slide over my wiper shaft like my shaft is buggered or the hole is too small . it appears nos never used , marked swf and made from aluminum , its lighter than some other bases here ... what do i have ?

im considering drilling the hole a larger diameter ?
