That's a great photo. But couldn't Emma have found some white boots to match the camper top/bumpers?

and a white hat ................

She is going to a belated Haloween party in a few days and dressing up as 'BIG EMMA'. I'll be sure to post a photo

My 78 Westy is named Lucy. Short for Loose Lucy. If you drive her on the highways with a gusty side wind, the steering qualities are what inspired her name. I like to say that you don't drive her as much as you surf her.
But, as soon as I replace the steering bushings, I might have to change the name to Tight Lucy. But it just doesn't sound the same... Wink

I just got a '72 Bus yesterday. I've always wanted a Mini and a Westy, and have only been able to tinker with my friend's cars until now. It's in pretty good shape, though I'm not sure if it runs yet (it's -25C outside!).

The first thing I did was buy replacement door parts so I can actually close and lock her. The second thing I did was name her Amelia.

This is the start of a beautiful romance.

I called mine "Bob", short for "bucket o bolts". I don't know what notchbay calls it now- probably multiple names of four letters each.

It sort of morphed from Frankencamper to Corn Dog. It may change again.

Names, like beer, are fluid.

Never really named my buses before, just referred to them by color - Big Red, Big Blue etc... My current bus is a little different. After spending some time hunting for a bus, she finally found me and once home Moby just seemed to fit. I just hope she doesn’t lead me to my doom Wink
