Ok, so after hours, and hours of cussing, two breaker bars, one crowbar, and one lug nut later I finally got the axle nut off! I ordered the Torque Meister from CIP1 and gave it a shot. I almost cried when the nut came off as easily as it did. This product is awesome, and I 100% reccomend this tool to anybody. Its definately worth the 60 bucks. I needed to take off the flywheel too... so just for shits and giggles I threw it on the gland nut, I was able to take it off with a freakin open end wrench. This is now my favorite tool in my box! TWO THUMBS UP

I agree. Saves you from guessing and major work. One of the best tools ever made. Now if somebody would whip me up and adapter plate to put it on my new 5x100 bolt pattern..... Embarassed

I just got one from CIP1 yesterday too. It worked like a charm, and was money well spent. I just wish that it came with instructions.

The only instructions I think it needs to come with is the torque ratio, which is 9:1.

I bought a copy on vacation a couple months ago from SoCal Imports, and haven't taken it out of the box yet. Smile

Yes, because you can overtighten the nut very easily with this tool. A torque wrench is a necessity to make sure you are within spec.

Yep...the Torque Meister/Torque Dude/Torque ? does come in handy.
I carry one in my Ghia along with my 3/4" ratchet with 36mm nut.
I had to use my Torque Meister/Torque Dude when I spun a drum in Michigan on late Saturday afternoon just after checking out the DDK Dyno Day and heading back to the host hotel.
Got a new German drum from Bob Ellis, and did the swap.
