Most definitely!!
Only one of many knee draggin' roads we've hit..
This was a short cut (from our campsite) shot on NC151 called "The Devils Drop" from Candler NC to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Its a short, steep, winding spurt, FULL of switchbacks.. We had our Garmin GPS on the windshield for off road back tracking..... the screen looked like a small intestine. Laughing
My son was driving in that pic.... so I got to enjoy it from the right seat on the way down.. Wink

It's been over 6 months since this was taken and I only discovered the picture yesterday. All credit to the photographer. Applause

That is a beautiful photo in so many ways! I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your buddy! Great photo!

I thought some of you might enjoy this one!

I shot this video while driving alone in one of Mark Merrill's other cool cars, an original paint 1957 Karmann Ghia Coupe. I was driving and alone when I leaned across the passenger seat and shot out the passenger window to catch the Schwimwagen action! Marks friend and mechanic Ray Shubert is the happy driver of the Schwimwagen. According to my speedo, they were doing about 57 mph going northbound on I-101 in San Jose after the Kelley Park meet was over several years ago.

A couple of pictures while driving and one video of my goofball project. It's not much compared to most of the cars on here but she makes me happy!

This was taken by Mark Merrill as we caravanned to Madera's Spring Fling last year. Mark drove his '67 deluxe and I was in my '60 sunroof standard. We corralled McKenzie in his '60 Ghia between us most of the way...
