One in a series of letters (in 1951) between Max Hoffman and Engineer Arno E.R. Koch, concerning making the SKM-Motosacoche supercharger available for VWs in the US.

I am looking for a new home for this material, perhaps a VW museum? Automotive Hall of Fame? I welcome any ideas.

There is probably someone with a Hoffman-delivered car that collects Hoffman materials.

I believe this would be your best bet.

I would love the literature, but in all honesty, it should stay in the USA.....with a Hoffman car or collector.

Thanks, Gents.

A collector with an interest in early speed equipment might be a good fit too. In the other letters & supporting materials are found technical specs, as well as a personal account of early testing on a Beetle in Germany.

I have already posted 2 pix of original photographs of the test engine used. One of these is the original photograph featured in the early "Kompressor" article, also posted on this site in the Vintage Speed section, for everyone's viewing pleasure.
