Does anybody have any east coast pictures from the late 1960s? Especially looking for HAF/GAS Portsmouth Virginia, Victory Sales sponsorship. I was there.

What’s weird is when searching for this topic. The second topic down was a guy searching for his old drag ghia named Makin’ Bacon.

a guy has just posted this plea in the general section - anyone recall seeing it?

Good afternoon, and hello from Denver.
I'm a brand new member and this is my first post.
As a kid, my dad and my uncle had VWs. Dad had a really nice red 68 convertible with a 356 motor. It was a show car amd was in Hot VWs many years ago. Uncle D had a drag car. I'm hoping someone might have photos of the drag car. It was a red bug...chopped and a fiberglass front end. It was called "Bad News Travels Fast". This would be late 70s to the mid 80s. The car mostly ran in Southern California at Bug Ins and other track days. It was a sister car to Roy's Green bug
Thanks for any help!

quote - it was an air cooled VW. It had gold lettering on the side, and red lexan windows.
