Especially since it's NOT a Westfalia! _________________ Karl Mullendore

I have my hands full with my newly acquired '85 Westy, but if anyone is interested, this seems like good package deal for two vans and parts...

That NH package seems really interesting... Too bad it's about 900km and a border from me... Still... I could use all those parts !!! _________________ 89 manual Vanagon GL Wesfalia |

This could be an interesting buy:
In the L.A. area, Copart, an 87 pop top, non camper, damage to the front right.
Looks like there *might* be some rust going on at the back two quarter panels, otherwise ok.
And an already-installed early suby 2.2 engine.
So far.... $90

| Threw a bid up, $200, and the price went to $625 from $90. Anyone have experience with Coparts auctions? |

That one that you posted about, I just happened to know about it.
it's been bandied about in a 1/2 dozen different locations, and when I was in contact with the scammer on one of his early ads he tried all sorts of ridiculous attempts to scam me.
You know:
I'm out of town right now
No you can't see it
I'm military
Leaving the country
And, free shipping. _________________ One of these days I'm gonna settle down,

Decent Weekender in Portland with a recent GoWesty 2.2:
http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/cto/2971018787.html
Seller neglected to include the word "Vanagon" in the ad, and misspelled "Westfalia"...so figured I'd pass in on for those who missed it in their CL search. |
