Ive had this van for about 6 years now, and i had intentions of using it for some sort of project, but have never had time to commit and really make it what i want. Now, I'm moving out of state and have no way of taking it with me. The van was my daily driver for about 2 years and it was always reliable and required pretty little maintenance. Van is currently not running, but i think it would be a simple fix for a mechanical mind. The ignition lock thinks the key is still in the cylinder when it is removed and won't engage when the key is in it. Odometer is stuck at 123,xxx but is really around 130k. New distributor and spark plugs within the last 6 months. maybe 1,000 miles on brand new tires. Middle seat was removed and hardwood floor was installed so now seats 5 with open middle area.

Did you get it?!! I didnt think it would last! Hopefully you did.... wish I had the extra $$ around, but getting a full Westy is another year away....until then, simply improving the Carat and enjoying it!

Nope, the seller followed up again with another comment. Either someone got an amazing deal or he's going to relist it for more. |

I've been watching this one for weeks on the local CL. It started at an outrageous $13,000, then dropped to a still-outrageous $11,000, then was further relisted at $9,000 and then $7,500. Now it is getting into the finally-reasonable range of $6,000. If this keeps up someone might get a good deal on a decent looking tintop.
