I wonder what's up with that van - it has been for sale for a long time. Price seems too good to be true. |

There is a reason cats are free and vans they inhabit do not sell. I'm sure an out of town buyer will get the van. |

I want THAT good deal! It looks way too good to be true... I may or may not have just looked at one way tickets to Georgia from San Francisco. _________________ 1987 Syncro Westfalia EJ22

I paid for a month of unlimited AutoCheck VIN reports when I only wanted to pay for one... So if anyone needs a history report ran, pmail me.
If you're willing to give me a small paypal donation in the amount of your choosing to recoup the expense already paid that would be nice but not required.
Thanks. |

Wonder how full the Karma - part it forward thread would get if we posted these offers there.
I would have posted my extra uses there had I though about it back then.
I guess InSynchro can offer VIN checks to the users here with a donation or a purchase from him, he sells parts or something doesn't he? http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?p=7538947#7538947 _________________ 83.5 Westy with Subaru 2.5, 4 spd manual, center seat, COLD A/C on 134a!, Winter camp heated with an Espar B4 gasoline furnace

That Vanagon gets high marks for staying power. I looked at it in 2004; a lady who lived near me over by DU was selling it. It was just a regular 7-passenger tin top back then, though. Same black bumpers, same hubcaps, same black roof. _________________ Joe T.

Weird. I mean how would it work? Are you kneeling on the checker plate while you're cooking? Sitting cross-legged on that stuff? _________________ '84 Vanagon GL 1.9 WBX

That 2 burner needs a whole lot of fuel to run, and will fill the van with enough noxious fumes to kill an elephant. Not the best designed setup, but if you cut roof off and hinged it so you could stand and work?
Either that or a height challenged person opens it up as concession, still needing ventilation. What about fire suppression?

This looks like a great van, but the price isn't a misprint, he sounded very offended when I asked him if it was, well it does have very nice back up lights.
