One of my (original) top latches doesn't seem to "snap" tightly...like the other. Are these latches adjustable (loosen, move latch, tighten)? Upper or lower? Or are we simply left with the natural adjustment? _________________ It's a Southern Thing, 73, stock.

Might be a remove-add shim-replace, depending on the circumstance. |

Shim on lower might work. I'll try a bit of matchbook cover. Let you how it works. _________________ It's a Southern Thing, 73, stock.

Check for hairline crack under load. I have 1, chrome, stainless whatever w/screws. Free, just give me address to send to if wanted. Forget the postage, if in lower 48. Leftover from my project. Help others when you can. |
