Without the wiring harness, the switch would be very difficuly to hook up. You would have to splice both ends in order to get it to work. Or solder onto the harness from your original switch. I can appreciate your desire to remain 100% original, but rewiring kind of defeats the idea. Last week I replaced my turn switch with one from the Thing Shop. It works great and installed like it is supposed to! Unless you see the part number, you'd never know if it's NOS or aftermarket.

I dont want to rewire anything.

The Thing shop photo has like a plug type wire set.

Is this the stock switch with wires added then?

The thing shop has the aftermarket ones.

Im looking for the originals.

Ill just keep my originals on and cancel this auction then. Seems they are not the stock switches.

You can get one from jbugs.com for a 7X beetle which is the exact same part as used on the thing.
the p/n will have the VW number in it which is: 111 953 513 (F)
