I haven't bought bumpers from them but I and my friends have bought some tail lights, trim, etc and their stuff is very nice quality.
Kind of expensive prices but good stuff from what I have experienced. _________________ 1953 Zwitter 11C (L73) |

Are you aware early Pre '49 Banana guards aren't correct for the 1950-52 ribbed bumpers? _________________ 1947 Typ 11a

What year is it? A 64? But I have bought alot of stuff from them and I always get it fast and they are very helpful. As for fit I cant say because I have not used the parts yet. _________________ 59 bug slammed with cosmics |

I bought a set of banana guards from them and they fit fine on the grooved bumpers... the profile is the same. I had them on the War Bug Type 82E replica I built...Im sure there are photos in the gallery somewhere. _________________ Cheers!

I saw a set of `49-`51 ribbed overiders from K/N that a friend from Kentucky bought. They looked definitely "home made" and I was not impressed with the quality...my buddy was pretty pissed at quality of the items as well. I also recall they had been chromed and the mounting braces had never been spot welded in place. The braces were sent loose with the overiders.
I dunno...maybe it was an isolated case? _________________ Samba Member #95

I bought rear taillight rubber and the popes nose rubber seal and the fit is good. Took 3 week to get here from over seas!! That is good from what I have been told for Brazil. _________________ TDC Auto Parts

No idea if he returned them or not, I do recall there was some "back and fourth" between the two and he was not really happy.
Reason I remeber all this is I was interested in purchasing a set of his bare split running boards. The price for them were very high especially with overseas shipping, so I wanted to know what the quality was and was searching out examples of his work.
I recall the overiders looked to be a couple pieces hand hammered then welded together. They were mis-shapen and crude. Items that would work in a pinch as filler parts, but definitely not restoration quality.
On my `50 split I had with me, had a set of German stamped repops which are 99% perfect. There was no comparison. _________________ Samba Member #95 |

I'd give my money to someone else.... 60%+ of the stuff I've bought from him is unusable due to quality and takes months to receive it. _________________ DBK Nor Cal
