As it sat in the PO's front yard for 8 years.
4 years later still sitting in the garage, should finally be running this spring.

I don't recall if I have posted this in here before, but I was just going through some old photos recently and then I saw this thread, so here goes.
My 57 kombi the day I first laid eyes on it.

I found an upside down bus once, too. It was rough, so I cut it up.

It had a lot of stuff left, but it was rough enough to become a donor for others.

Ok Keoki, I have to ask because Im curious....from what i can tell in the "found" pictures, the front doors and a cargo doors all appear to be very straight and from what i can see, fairly low rust and matching the original patina...but in the ad all the doors are changed out to some greyish doors...What was the reason for that?

As much as I would have liked to run w/ the OG doors, there was just to much work to save them Vs boltin on the one's from the donor bus I had purchased.
Ea one had issues...
Drivers; Tweeked
Pass; Hinges where Hyper-extended
Cargo's; Was stuffed w/ mud (bondo) _________________ Peev's; People that pretend to be something there "NOT"...... |
