Am I crazy or are the time zones off one hour? I tried to switch to central time zone ( I am in Minneapolis) and it was still an hour behind. I had to switch to eastern time zone to get the right times on thesamba.
what i am i doing wrong?

thesamba is based out of arizona where they don't celebrate daylight savings. meaning that twice a year, you have to change your samba clock.

The site does not account for daylight savings time so sometimes you have to adjust.

and truly just how much daylight are we, in fact, "saving" anyway? where does it go? where is the daylight bank? Greenland?

My dad always told me the only reason for daylight savings time was so kids didn't have to walk to school in the dark.
