Are they doing this again here in Colorado? If so, when is it and where? _________________ 1972 Standard Beetle

We should definitely do a Saturday night meet up somewhere. I think it will be above freezing by then. |

What'd you expect from a free show? _________________ Some people are so busy being clever they don't have time enough to be wise. |

We don't have quite the same scene here as in the south west...in fact, that's about all I miss about living in San Diego...SoCal has a great VW scene...
Meet Sat the 19th at the same Sonics (225 & Tamerac) at about 3'ish??? _________________ In search of a Vanagon

I'm in. Had a great time at the sonic last year for Bandemire. _________________ and take the kids for instance "Are we going in the Volkswagen bus?" and they say "Yay!" and clap their hands and if it's a glorious day you can slide the sunroof back and let a little of the glory in and all of a sudden, it stops looking funny.

Is anyone up for meeting in a central location and cruising over to crash this show:
What: Gunther Toody's Diner "Opening of Summer Cruise Night"
Where: 58th (Ralston Rd.) & Wadsworth - Arvada, CO - 303.422.1954
When: May 19, 5:00pm - 9:00pm
Admission: Free for all!
Description: Celebrating their 19th Anniversary! FREE Dash Plaques to the first 75 vehicles entered. Featuring special guest Pin Striper, Mik Young. Watch "Mad Mik" lay down lines of color! Commemorating 51 years of 50's style pin-striping. Great parking for 100's of vehicles. Enjoy 50's & 60's music from Cruisin' Dave. Special grand prizes including a Hot Rod Door custom Pin-Stripped by Mad Mik himself! Also be a part of the all new and exciting "Mad Mik Hoola-Hoop" Contest with a spectacular pin-striped prize for the winning Hoola-Hooper!
I think this is a big event and its the night before VW's on the Green... I'll pass on the pinstripes though... _________________ Rich

Perhaps we could meet further down south at the usual Sonic... and then cruise up to the show at Gunther Toody's. _________________ Rich

I agree we should try to keep in at the Sonic at the Tech Center. It is a little more centrally located and most folks know where it is. |

Tech Center Sonic, I'll be there. We should figure out a time so that the most people and cars can attend. I'm available from the late afternoon. |
