Trying to find the earliest volksrod featured in a magazine. This predates the series in Rod & Custom.
Got to give the original Volksrodders props from us younger Volksrod guys. The car was still a work in progress but made the cover This is from October 64. Not featured but one other picture inside at the VW Club Convention in Atlanta. Built by Paul Bruns of Stuart Florida. Square tube frame using both front and rear VW suspension . Ran a 36hp motor |

Pretty much exactly how the VW gassers like Inch Pincher, Tar Babe, Deano Dynosaurs, etc did back in the day. _________________ Formerly known in the forums as "OVALTEEN"

This one gave me the inspiration for the hearse project wheels. Using a different style center cap and beauty rings - but dont those look like a 30s artillery wheel? Love it! _________________ D-Dubya Manx clone - 63 Short pan,1914.
