has this helped you any?
It does not look like it..
Randee does not read these threads as far as I know. Or thats what he has told me when I have mentioned someones bashing his good name. As a business man you cannot ALWAYS make every single customer happy it simply is impossible .HOWEVER!!
This does not mean that you do not have issues with him that might be real or very important. This does need to be addressed and i will mention it to him next time we talk. As i said before you can trash talk anyone you want all day long ,if they do not read it you are wasting your time and everyone elses also. There are plenty of previous happy customers that will vouch for him and there will be in the future also. And a few more unhappy customers also.
I hope randee and yourself the best and I will mention this to him ,and see if I can maybe help things along. Who knows.. _________________ do it right the first time or you are just wasting time and money |

As a matter of fact yes, it has helped me.
He obviously pretends not to look in this forum, but you can see he has replied to this in the other forum that is in my sigline. Pretty basic stuff here.
I have not talked trash, only stated the facts. It is not up to you to decide the route I take to get my money refunded. It is being handled. |

I know.
I know that Jim is neither wasting his time, nor anyone else's.
I know that Jim is trying to resolve his situation is a very appropriate manner by exposing what he believes to be fraudulent business practices.
I know that Jim is also looking out for the best interests of those of us that frequent this site. We don't always agree, but that's not what this is about.
I know that Jim, just like the rest of us, want to know we can come to theSamba, do business and seek advice here without having to be concerned about being screwed over.
I know now that I will think twice about ever doing business with Randee.
Does this sound like wasting time?
I know its not. So do many others reading this thread. _________________ -Tim

Talked to Randee at Bug In about a set of wheels, when I called hin he said he would ship them, called me a couple days later from Fed Ex building, wheels showed up a couple days later and are beautiful. Like them so much I ordered another set.
Not to defend Randee but he is the IZZY of the wheel industry, great peoduct, worth the wait and sometimes you get lucky and he has product ready to go _________________ Stocking distributor of "The Funky Green Panels"

Yes, you can. You just have to take a 'loss' every once in awhile. You also have to solve the problem right when it happens, not drag it out for years.
I'd love a set of his wheels. I'd never buy from him. I'll find a used set.
It sounds like he's over-leveraged. His house-of-cards will only hold up for so long.
Jim, I hope you get your money. _________________ www.DenverWildlifeControl.com |

If that truly were the case, he would just hire additional people. If he really was 'too busy' and wanted to do all the work himself, he would just raise his prices. People use that excuse way too often. In most cases, the opposite is true. I think, he's a one man show and he's broke.
I really like his wheels but I'd never buy anything from him. _________________ www.DenverWildlifeControl.com |

I don't think there are many of those left in the world. Business practice declines are ruining the image and quality of most every reputable VW parts supplier there is. _________________ -Tim

Yo, Randee!
Can you define your version of "a timely manner" for the audience watching at home please? _________________ -Tim

No "business" should take orders without having the item in stock. That's rule number one and unfortunately it happens all the time. _________________ Your Vanagon sucks, Stop waving at me.

I did get an email on the 28th of last month stating " "the
money cleared from a check and will be sending you your money!".
Well today I rec'd a postal money order, but with only about a third of the amount he owes me. The message lead me to believe I was getting ALL of the amount I am rightfully owed, but I guess it is more of the same. He did say he was hoping to sell some wheels at the Classic this weekend.
Let's just get this overwith. |

I do believe I recall him agreeing to your "full refund" on this thread, if I'm not mistaken. _________________ -Tim

Have just received a set of wheels from Randee which he had advertised on thesamba and was very happy with the service.
We agreed the price including shipping and the wheels were sent out the day after I sent the money. The description of the wheels was honest and was helpful through emails and when we spoke.
Just wanted to give some positive feedback where I feel it is due... |
