What I was told years ago is that they were going to produce a wagon and pickup but went out before they were produced. My dad also has the pickup he bought in 72. |

Cool tail lights. Let me guess...'72 Maverick. I found a set in the local pull-a-part yard and thought they would look cool and EZ to install. I'll find out soon enough. _________________ Thanks, Glenn

Yes Mavrick tail lites. My brother also runs these in a Manx style.I had to run relays in his because vw has seperate signal and brake bulbs the Mavrick has 1 bulb.My buggy uses a GM colum and wiring so it dosn't need relays.I'd like to upgrade to Elcomino bumper and lites just narrow the bumper. |

Looks excellent and I like the idea of shortening the El Camino bumper to fit.
Got any pictures of the dash and interior layout?
With any luck I'll have my Ocelot finished Summer 2007. |

Hey guys,
The Ocelot Pickup was a concept that they advertiesed in sketch form only. Unlike the Vaquero, Ocelot, Ocelot SS bodies that Sand Chariots built.
Very rare. This is the only one we have seen still around.

Here's a scan from my Ocelot instruction booklet which shows how the bed goes together on what is called the "Brush Buggy". You can see how crummy the editing is...(body) "Assy" has been misspelled as "Asst".

Hey, I got one of those too. In a brochure I have, they actually call the truck version, "the Cabellero" !

That Cabbellero body style is sweet. Most "truck" body dunes don't look like pick ups at all, and don't have any cargo space. That one is really different! |

Sure Nelson, you're welcome over anytime.
Just call first, so I can have security lock up the Dobermans, and turn off the Laser fence ! |

I enjoy a challenge. Is that the Con-Ferr chassis I delivered to Dave Barrett?

That is a Con-Ferr chassis. From a CV Manxvair.
I doubt it ever went to Dave 's, that would mean I would have had to have gotten rid of something. |
