I was wondering if anyone knows where I could get this “Piece”.
Here’s my Rear Apron:
Couldn’t I get this section off a 50-67 Rear Apron? |

Hmmm, I live in CA so there's not as many VW Junk Yards on this side of the Country. But I'll check it out.
Thanks! |

You are in the VW junkyard capitol of the US. I always hit the yards when I am out there. Most east coast VW's, in junkyards, were crushed 20+ years ago do to rot..... _________________ The honey-do list put my project on hold....... |

I go to the "Pick-a-part" all the time and come across bugs and once in a great while i come across a seriously wrecked oval(but usually they are stripped to nothing).........its all about finding it. _________________ This is my 23rd year in the Auto Body/Paint Game!

When building my car, I needed spring plates. Simple IRS spring plates. I looked thru every junkyard for 30 miles for a pair. All were rotten. If spring plates were that bad you can imagine the rest of the car. I ended up having to get a pair in cali. _________________ The honey-do list put my project on hold....... |

I live in Arizona where rust is rare (unless the car came from back east ). We are lucky w/the amount of good used parts around here. Hell, you should move out here, EVERYONE ELSE IS! _________________ Contact me at [email protected]

Hmm,
There are a few junkyards around where I live, but most of the time there aren’t any VW Bugs there. When I do find VW bugs their usually Supper beetles.
But I’ll Keep my eye’s out for them

There is a great yard in Sacramento. I got my fenders from a yard in Merced. The pick and pull here in Chico always has a few bugs. It is amazing what you find if you just look and ask around.
