I speak Spanish well enough that the language barrier isn't a problem when I google "Solex C34." That said, even Spanish speakers on the Web seem to be at a loss when it comes to finding documentation for the carburetor! I just need to know how to adjust the idle on this thing.

Not only is Google of no help, but so far there's not much info via TheSamba's "Search" button for this carb. It's very similar to the Webber 2 bbl progressive, apparently, but I doubt a Webber carb tuning guide would work for this one Wink.

So, this is a request to anyone out there who might know of any way to find more info about the Solex C34 2 bbl carburetor. The complete part number for mine is C34TC10C10/13K.

Thank you!

Here's a pic of the left side of the carb with what appears to be an idle adjustment screw similar to ones I've seen on 28 PICT carbs. Anyone got thoughts on this?

I hate to bump, but I want to keep this question alive. I know it's going to be difficult finding someone who knows something about this carb!

Thanks for understanding Smile.

SOLVED

I took the carb off the manifold to just look it over and figgure it out. My findings can be found in this thread:

http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=217070

So, for any of you out there who have a similar carb the link above may prove invaluable. Smile

Now I'm gonna go get a freakin' cookie for myself.
