In my experience, I have never seen anyone say this that actually knew what something was worth.
Kinda like the people at swap meets that say "These go for $500 online" but you can have them for $125 _________________ How to Post Photos

Where to begin? Let's start with it's NOT a 1961. LOL
If I'm going to pay 15k for a "restoration" without a radio, the dash better not be hacked (and hopefully have a radio delete plate).
And it better come with better bumpers than this.

I just kind of love that this guy calls his car a "Semaphone" Beetle. Okay, it's an "innocent" mistake but are you really going to fork the $$ over to a guy who thinks he has a Semaphone? "N" and "R" are pretty far away on the computer keyboard, so who are you dealing with here?

I see he fixed his spelling- but I still agree- he's unclear (and nice thumbnail photos). He'll throw in a needed qtr panel "if the price is met," yet the genius lists no price- just offer.
That car will be decorating his front yard until the No-Caroliney springtime, by cracky. _________________

I think you are right on the money there. It is a good car- but he needs to spend about 100 hours detailing it. No money need be invested- just good old fashioned elbow grease on that dirty car. _________________

Then why doesn't he price accordingly? I agree, $300 is top dollar |
There had been a NOS set advertised for THREE YEARS in the classifieds for $1250. Inactive now...maybe he is waiting for the market to come up. _________________ -Ryan
