I don't think it's really for $0 - I think the seller just didn't know what to ask, he did say "offers?" But that's certainly better than most of the ads we usually talk about in this thread. |

Not a gripe about price or condition, but about adds. I have sent PM's to several members as of late to buy parts, they haven't been online in weeks. Now I know that people have lives but if you are posting items for sale, at least check in every two or three days to see if there are members inquiring.
I sent PM's and an email to two members here three days ago wanting to buy their parts, the both have been online more than once with no reply? Hey if you don't like me and don't want to sell to me then fine don't, or if it has been sold then at least PM me and tell me.
Also I recently bought an item, paid and waited patently for it to arrive, two weeks pass and nothing. I then send message and the seller says he can't find it but has another in not as good condition...WTH. I passed on the lesser item. I then contacted another member to buy the same item, I pay and again nothing for almost two weeks?? Finally I get a PM saying it's on the way. Again I know people have lives, but hey, they posted the items, they have responsibilities when it comes to them...no?
Not all is bad, I did buy an item from a member, and received it in two days and left great feedback. |

If they don't get back with you just move on. Use the feedback section as needed for both buyer and seller. _________________ Rick

Everett, I haven't had any problems in the past with PM's, just lately. OK, will just do emails from now on. |

Indeed- way over priced for so may inaccuracies- it's a 10k car all day, but it does have nice bumpers. I just noticed one more little thing- he claims VW built a million cars in '66. Is this right? _________________

The German final chassis number for the type 1 in 66 is usually listed as 1161021298, still over a million. I don't know how they tally those things up for the other countries and such. |

So cal parts total suck you should never use them for anything I purchased a dome light with no way to hook up the wires on one side has a male spade on one side a mini spade connectors that the only way to do it was soider it but when I pushed it in the hole it broke they will not take it back. Also bought a seat knob put it on let go of the leaver it flies off.
how would you hook it up my original light had screw terminals. _________________ Look off in the distance it's a bird it's a plane no it's a frog no it's just little old me Underdog65 and my Sweetpolly passing your way. |

Not only is this prime material for their feedback thread rather than here, I agree- they should not refund you after the solder job. They cannot know whether you did a good job on it or some ham fisted solder work that compromised the strength of the whole thing. How do you hook it up, duh, with crimped on spade connectors on your wires, done!
The seat knob is a refundable event. _________________

$19,499.97 seems awfully steep. |

He seems pretty honest about it though. Other then the doors the paint looks pretty original to me. Actually looks like a a pretty clean car over priced alittle yes. But it is lowered on earlies..... |
