Absolutely not. But it's advertised a lot. I think that there are several threads on it, and it happens all the time. But no, it is not legal. |

I bet this guy also sees his oil filler cap as a "710" cap.

I'd start with the price and then move on to just about every detail in the interior. How 'bout you? |

Considering '58's are my favorite year, I could REALLY pick that one apart, lol. I get that people get in a hurry or impatient with a restoration, but they obviously don't get how much nicer a car could be with some nice detailing. Even if you rattle can a few parts so that they're the original color, the car will look a million times better. You can still get awesome results with a rattle can with some time and patience, anything is better than being lazy and painting the entire car the same color for the most part. Also, don't expect to command top dollar when you used bottom dollar parts. |

Ive seen, and said it before. People jump into a resto, and blow their whole wad on paint and body work, then get to the end and don't have enough to finish the project. So, they scrape up the last little bit of change out of the piggy bank, and toss in some super cheap interior, still expecting it to fetch big money come sale time.
Oh, and for 22k I would expect the spare tire to at least have some hub cap clips on it. _________________ WANTED: Henry Veale Santa Rosa plate frames

If I recall, that dealership first signed on to thesamba.com with that car fro sale. Whatever the hell Oxygen blue is, it was apparently available only in 5 gallon buckets. They devalued that car with nearly everything they did to it. _________________

Holy heat vent door! Do they open themselves for that price?
He's completely high. And if you look at his other ads, he only has a couple price points- $100 and $150. _________________

I think I finally figured out how this guy prices things.
He's a shop so he uses his shop rate. It took him approx. an hour to clean them up so they are $100.
Apply his $100/hr. shop rate (guess) to his other ads as needed. _________________ How to Post Photos

They're priced at Kabriolett heater door prices, if someone was desperate for them! |
