Hah! Don't bother picking the leaves and boogers and crap out of the CV grease. Those things are ready for installation as is.

No bigee, no matter how you install them in a 1967 they won't have to rotate.

Four people interested already in the fenders....... so apparently many people need German original-paint fenders more than you do. And they are willing to pay for quality and originality. With body shop labor rates varying between $45-$85 PER HOUR....it makes more sense for some people to buy quality versus buy junk and then pay through the nose to get it repaired.

The days of nice $40 German fenders at Pomona are over....... Rolling Eyes

I don't want to part the car out.... but I will if I need to.

It makes much more sense financially to part it out..... but I would rather see it sold complete and enjoyed.

But if nobody steps up....then I have no problem parting it out.

Oh, and i never claimed the CAR is "unbelievable". The car is only solid and nice. Some of the original paint body panels ARE unbelievable. Very Happy

Instead of considering parting it out- how about just listing and selling it for what it's worth? Since the CAR isn't unbelievable- sell it for the $3400 it's worth- you'll still double your money, no?

Or a convertible top. Or maybe a sunroof. Or maybe even a briefcase full of 100 dollar bills...

Even with a perfect original interior, no mint condition '66 standard is worth that much.

Looks like a nice project, but the starting bid is a little high. Gotta love the rant-like description with no punctuation, grammar and spelling errors...

I'm by no means a split expert, but does this look odd? The front fenders look squared. No semaphores on a '51? What about the taillights? Obviously the motor isn't original. So many other things just don't look right for the asking price.

That bug looks pretty nice. I find it odd he's expecting to sell the car through a PM here for the full price without it even being looked at in person though.
