#1 value put at $26 K
This car is far from a #1
people really don't get that a 1 is a garage/trailer queen that is at or above what condition it left the factory and is almost never driven.
let alone have improper, missing, wrong color etc parts used Rolling Eyes

Just wondering... When somebody says "I do not except PayPal for payment" does that mean they do accept PayPal? Although I think it's already been decided nobody is likely to pay his price for those fenders. Rolling Eyes

The car needs further expert scrutiny for the amount of original claims.

It is beautiful- but several claims don't add up. I'm picking on this car because I've owned a virtual twin to it for many years. The og ribbed running boards were sold in my town during the 80s- they were taped up as pairs and stocked sticking up out of a garbage can- roughly $20 pair I recall at Bowwow. The quarter windows appear to have no chrome trim. He further adds that the interior paint is original- which to me calls into question the 100% original exterior paint claim. Nice car, but still has no sunroof for plenty of money.

Yeah, the running boards should have Como Green colored vinyl and the smooth stainless trim.

Also, I doubt that's the original engine case - that serial number stamping does not look factory to me (that is, looks more like a re-stamp onto a blank replacement block)

I do not know how to fix this. All I can say is it all works fine for me with what I use, Firefox.

I agree with that too, this does not look like a factory stamp:

The engine # does match the month of the vehicle (11/62) so it could be the correct original #

Carpet on the tunnel makes me doubt that it's the original carpet, though the tunnel piece could be a later additional installation. Definitely not the original headliner.

It look ok. And restoring cars is expensive. Especially if you are doing it for profit. But it`s a but pricey.

Was it painted with a spray can or a roller? Love the fit of the engine lid. Spray painted bumpers? Confused I'm not sure any of us have the time to list all the issues with this "beautiful restored 66 bug". I wonder if he meant to say "Beautifully restored 66 bug"? Laughing

The fit of the front hood doesn't look very promising either. Looks like its been hit at some point but not pulled back out.
