I have to wonder why some of these dinks don't go to the trouble of cleaning out their cars when tring to sell them. I mean, how long does it take to remove some of that crap they have laying around in there?

The same holds true for parts in The Classifieds. I realize that those who earn a living by breaking down VW's and selling parts can't be cleaning up every part, but a lot of these parts are being sold by enthusiasts who simply have a few spare parts hanging around in the garage. Somehow they don't realize that appearance goes a long way ....

The cars, however, really blow me away. If they can't take the time to clean out the spare parts and soda cans, it makes me wonder how often they did proper maintenance.

Then, there are the sellers who show their engines with huge holes in the tins where the pre-heater hose is supposed to be, or the fresh-air heater hoses. Right, I want a car whose motor has been cooking for god knows how long.

Plug up your holes, boys.

Geeze!

Anyone recognize this car from elsewhere on the internet - ebay, craigslist, etc.?

I suspect this might be a scam ad as that doesn't look like NC in the photo.
People from NC - feel free to comment on that.
