Just picked these up from WalMart last week. 1960 Microbus Deluxe 21 windows, 1/24 scale and well detailed. The green one has the sunroof molded open, the orange one is closed. Front doors are actually hinged along with the rear hatch and engine compartment lid. Colors are wrong for the year, and the side doors don't open, but they sure look nice @ $20.00.

Hi Guys, never been much of a toy collector but recently picked these up in the original boxes. The convert beetle, single cab and bus seem to be a bit older than the ghia and beetle.

All are in pretty good condition. Any ideas on age or other details you might know on them?

Those are Wiking 1/40 promotionals made in Germany, and originally sold through Volkswagen dealers. They were Wolfsburg's official promotionals. The Beetle and Ghia are from '66-'67 and the others are early sixties. I've never seen the convertible with figures, which makes it interesting, however it looks like a figure/steering wheel may be missing.

These are near the top of the collector's food chain and you will probably get offers to buy.

Ha-ha, yes! I was thinking of asking if he was interested in selling the Ghia. I couldn't help myself. Wink

Those are nice Wikings that is for sure. Some crisp looking boxes too! Nice find.

Is that Ghia missing the back bumper?

I have the Ghia available in white, mint with no box. PM me if you're interested.

Thanks for the feedback. There's just so many different toys out there, I was having trouble identifying them.

Very, I'd say Very Happy

The replication of detail and proportions in these models is quite astounding.

I have the white Wiking Ghia already as it happens, but really like the Blue(Sea Blue?) and my old 1:1 Ghia from years past(only VW car I have ever owned) was that pale yellow like on the box…..and rust Wink Laughing

I don't think, that these figures are original ... Confused

If at all figures were in WIKING models, there were max. 2 figures sitting on the front seats!

Hello everyone ! Picked this FALLER HO slot car, up today at local flea (not cheap, but it seemed worth it) Not much here about them and only a couple of pics on web. This one is the only one I have seen with printing on door, it reads:
DEUTSCHES ROTES KREUZ... ORTSVEREIN FURTWAGEN. or
GERMAN RED CROSS ORTSVEREIN FORDWAGEN
and I found this place on google: Deutsches Rotes Kreuz - Ortsverein Mornshausen S. Heunstbergweg 335075 Gladenbach, Germany
What do Ya'all think ?? Thanks in Advance

Hi Helmut,

this will remain the only one - because that sticker was mounted individually. Wink
