Boots'nAll.com is a very popular travel site along the information highway.

This is how they describe themselves:

"BootsnAll.com is the ultimate resource for independent travellers. Whether you are planning a trip, actually on a trip, just back from a trip or simply thinking about travel, BootsnAll.com probably has a resource or two that may interest you."

Check them out at http://www.bootsnall.com/

They are based in Eugene, OR. which just happens to be sort of a Westfalia heaven, if you don't mind a spot of rain now and then.

The lads who run the place evidently got tired of pedaling around town on their Huffy bicycles, so they decided to buy a car.
They originally pictured themselves riding around in style in some sort of high-level tax dodge, but it quickly became apparent that only one vehicle would work for a "travel site". A 1971 VW bus. And besides, that was all that they could afford.

Having more free time than common sense, they of course had to make a web
page and blog to chronicle their VW bus antics.

It is a worthy effort: http://www.bootbus.com

The latest entry shows them removing their bumpers.

See what I said about common sense?
