Hey all, my girlfriend got her horn to her 73 thing stolen (or fell off maybe, but I think stolen.) We got a new horn from The Thing Shop, but it doesn't sound the same. My question is where can I get her a new correct sounding horn? Any help for her and me would be appreciated. Thanks

And where do you get the little rubber sleeves for the spade connectors on the horn?

Rubber sleeves can be bought from West Coast Metric (they have all that rubber stuff). On this page of their catalog:

Horn can be had by Kubalmann. He most likely has a good used one to sell you. I have one from a bus, but am not sure it is the same pitch as the Thing. It is a VW horn, but I am not sure if there were different tones.
