winter type 3

does anybody know of a good upgrade in the heater/defroster system on a type 3? Anything NOS or if not, is there any good aftermarket system?

Those fan boosters that mount under the back seat are probably your best option.

Ebersbacher gas heaters are pretty common in VW applications. They mount in the trunk and can be made to really blast some heat in the winter.

Kinda rare now, but a little peristence will find one.

Never used the fan boosters, but I'm dying to add a set to the square when she's road worthy again.
