It would be easier for us flipseat owners it you just put a list up of what you want to get rid of.
I need a door cabinet and the mat over the engine compartment. _________________ Stocking distributor of "The Funky Green Panels"

You and me both. But I would settle for a so-23 or anything earlier. Once the x-mas season is over the search is on!! I hope to find one locally.
As for the thread great idea, I like it. Splitpile-I don't think people are looking to get rid of stuff, just looking to trade for items they need and are willing to part with some of their stash to get it. Personally, I'd much rather buy and collect but if trade was the only way to get something I needed, I'd do it.
Todd - is the whtie tray similiar (or same size) to the so-42 tray less the drain hole?? Have a pic?? |

cool idea. i might be wrong, but i'm thinking that this thread will be full of "i need this" posts, and won't get very far off the ground unless folks start putting up "i will trade this" lists...lol.
i picked up an insane amount of mid-to-late westy stuff on my current trip out - including so22, so23 (LOTS!), so34 and so42... i only wish i had a bigger trailer or a bigger truck... |

I will trade an early SO-33 kit up or down for an early westy rack for my '58.
the kit has all of the cabinets and cusions, but none of the loose stuff (no wash basin, no tent, etc.)
trade only on the kit, but if someone has a spare early westy rack, I am willing to buy it if they don't need the kit. _________________ .

I'd trade some of my cash for a foyer tent. LOL
You can look at my ads all are trade optional. I also have some odds and ends- mostly SO42 stuff.
I also rebuild gas heaters, only the eberspachers, and have some spares for those as well. _________________ Your Vanagon sucks, Stop waving at me.

I made one from a bay window bus hammock. A friend let me borrow his original split window hammock to use as a template to cut down the bay window one. I took pictures documenting this.
For poles I used an adjustable late model bay window pole in the front (smaller pole) and a regular early bay window pole in the rear (same size for bay and split).
I also used the bay window mounting brackets because they fit the bay window poles much better.
The hammock works great in my '65 Panel and my 9 month old daughter slept very well in it when we camped this summer. Bay window cots are pretty plentiful and well made. The key is to find is the later adjustable pole (unless you want to cut and weld a bay window pole to the right size). The adjustable pole is made out of U-channel steel, not round stock like the early poles. The adjustable poles are grey (unfiinished steel), the solid poles are usually black.
Send me a pm with your e-mail address if you'd like copies of the pictures I took when I made mine.
