No sweat Craig,
I'm just ribbin' ya a little! I hope you can locate those little "stops", you'd think someone by now would have repro'ed something so simple just like Westfalia did originally. Crossin' my fingers for you!

I apologize for not having given you credit Bill, after all, it does have your name attached to it nearby. Yours was a sharper photo than I could get. Thank you post hoc for the use of it. Do you have any pictures of the little clamps that hold the long bungee to the driver's side that I could glom too?
I am looking for two of those clamps as well.

I have some jalousie window parts, cabinetry parts, and more.
I'm also looking for the gray curtain bungees or the materials to make them.

OG67westy is correct. Here's a picture of mine in case it helps (below).
Picture taken before I did some restoration to my spice rack and put new birch-wood panels onto the cargo doors.

Hey Everyone
I'm looking for some parts for an so-23 if anyone is willing to part:
Cargo Door Table
Looking for a good complete table with the prop and the hardware and gold trim.
Hatch Prop Rod
looking for the whole unit.
Mirror and One Hardware Piece
Looking for a single brass hardware piece (front\back). I don't have a mirror but looking into getting a repo made. If there is a good original out there, i'd consider it.
If anyone has these, that would make my day! Please let me know. _________________ 1959 Type II Mango SO-23

Was it here that someone was recently asking about the big springs used in the SO-42 pop-top and needed some? If so, Wolfsburg West just announced that they have them for sale in their "Wolfsburg Wired" email:
WESTFALIA POP TOP SPRING
SO-42 owners can finally stand on their own two feet. The need to hunch in the rear of your camper is a thing of the past (except for the safety meetings of course.) Replace your worn or broken springs today and use the pop top like the Westfalia factory intended.
Made by Wolfsburg West
Part # 231067990, Through 1967, $12.95 ea.
Go get 'em if you need 'em!

It was in another thread (thread title "Pop top Questions") which I posted in about an hour ago giving them the heads up. Nice to see WW making these as its not easy to find used ones. One of mine is weaker than the other two so I may replace them with these if they get good reviews. _________________ RPM=(MPH*336* (R&P*4th*1.26))/Tire Diameter in inches |

Someone I know is making noises like he might want to sell his Westy SO-42 ice box unit (I think it's a walk-thru version - I'll have to double-check on that). He described it as "in pretty nice condition" so I am assuming that it is fairly complete. I personally would prefer that he keep it for his SO-42, but he has never needed or used it and stores it inside his home, and he knows how hard to locate these iceboxes are and what they are worth... He's interested in selling it for funds to finish some motor work.
Is anyone currently in need of a 1966-ish ('65 thru '67) ice box?

I have several folks inquiring, lined up and interested in the my buddies "walk-thru" SO-42 icebox, "if" indeed he decides to sell it. I keep suggesting that he keep it for his Campmobile, but, whatever...
I finally got my friend on the phone this afternoon and he is going to try to dig it out of his storage spot in the house to check it out in the next day or two. He can't remember it's condition, so he'll report back to me in a day or two. He is NOT computer proficient, so "if" this ice box becomes available, I might be running an ad for him (he's not a member here). Again, this is a friend and I'm trying to help him out, I do not own this icebox in question, nor have I ever seen it.
"If" he decides to sell and "if" he provides some decent digital photos and a better description I will pass them on to the folks who inquired, in the order they inquired. Thanks for your understanding.
