It's about time southern Arizona has gotten rain. After our dismal monsoon last season and in particular, Tucson's driest and hottest winter on record. It's quite lovelly with these last few afternoon rains. I hope that we get much more!

I drove though a storm in Phoenix on Sunday, it was thick and heavy, more rain than I've ever seen on any of my visits. Back in Florida we call that Thursday. Laughing Only difference was that most morons in S.Fl.feel the need to drive with the hazards flashing in the rain. I did not see one car like that here. It was nice to see.

Smile

That was pretty mild for AZ. No flash flooding.

Our morons like to drive through flooded washes and get stuck. They are now charged for their rescue costs.

Not by me, there's only one road that floods and it doesn't get that deep.

The drainage ditch in my backyard gets deeper.

Two years ago, my neighborhood in particular took 5.25 inches of rain in less than an hour.
A road that runs parallel to Tucson's river, The Santa Cruz, had 100 yard section that was washed out and flooding right into the river.
some idiot, I assume someone not from around here, tried to drive through it.
He was extremely lucky that his car sunk into the washed out road which prevented it from being washed into the river not 50 yards from the road.

Genius. Rolling Eyes

Send that rain up here to refill the mountain lakes, they are low. If we are lucky this winter and get lots of snow to fill them back up.

If we had this law in California, we could probably pay the National Debt

We’ve already taxed the stupid to the limit. It’s called the lottery.
