I heard he bought it for like $500 at an estate sale too?

It was super original inside.

I talked to the owner for a while. If you look at my Standard you'll see ours busses are almost the same paintwise. Yes, he did pay $500 for it. He told me it came with all the original paperwork which he has at the house.

That bus is awesome. Did you by chance get any insight as to why the rust was in streaks as if it was rolled on?

Stumbled upon a '66 Lotus white walk through and didn't realize it until 10 months later. All along I thought my '66 was a faded out titan red.
However after talking with Jeff Power I dug a little deeper and looked up the M-Code's and discovered that it's a lotus white deluxe walk through.

Current bus exterior shot:

ha, cool! i took those pictures where the bus sat here in texas... can't believe thats the same bus. i was looking at the pics saying to myself "i took really similar ones", then realized those are the ones i sent you...

hurricane ike flooded the area where that bus sat a short time after it was removed, good timing. i still need to get that contact info for you if possible... working on it.

Jake, Rusty,
Congratulations on those beautiful buses.
I noticed that you both have the deluxe trim insert in white. I've seen it available at most shops in green, blue, titian, black and sealing wax - but never white. Can either of you tell me who sells the trim insert in white?
Thanks.

Best Picture of any 21 I've ever seen. Damn good job, and the logical layout of the center seats... the best. Applause
