Hey guys.

I am a huge Aircooled fan so this is my dream first car!

Its quite the car, not only does it look stunning but also goes like stink.

Unfortunatly there are a few misleading aspects on the car, the motor is infact a thurock motor with JMR heads NOT a full JMR motor, so the stickers will be comming off.

It is however a 1914cc Motor with a few modifications to it!

I need to do a bit of cosmetic work to her, I will be re-fitting the bumpers but they are getting a coat of black first.

The bucket and Finefettle. Thankyou for the positive comments. Was an 8 year build. $200 a paycheck was all i could afford during the build, but was worth it. Now i am restoring a 61 Ghia.

The wing AND the fenders (mud-guards) on that car were created by my friend Richard Holzl - THE man behind V-Force. Do you see him around much anymore Sydney lately? Not heard from him much in ages...

Where can that wing be bought. Does it come as a complete deck lid or is this custom stuff.

V-force here in Sydney makes them.
Its a complete decklid

It would be a very expensive wing by the time shipping is factored in but he sent one to Norway a few weeks ago so can't be too outrageous.

He's still around but you don't hear much from him these days, I haven't seen him in over a year.

Just thought I would pop mine back up again since its change a lot since I last posted it (almost a different car)!!

Although it does need lowering about a foot to look right, at the moment it is higher up than some sky scrapers!

Looks great with the carbon bumpers and blacked out rims.
Definitely needs a better muffler though, Monzas belong on the scrap heap

Yea we never made early bugs with big windows, was only when fatchicks started in 68 we got them.

64 to 67 bugs didnt change here except for going to 1300 engines

I agree, they look cool though.

For now they are what I am using on a 1300 motor. Building up a type 4 which will have a custom exhaust system, but I plan on using the monza tips so they look good!
