Here is the progress on my pan. Not as clean as some in here but good enough for me.

The mods list.
Front:
4" narrowed CIP beam with shock towers
Custom single bag setup
2" drop spindles
1 3/4" shortened pan head

Rear:
2" Tranny raise
Notched spring plates
Custom bag setup

Those rear bag mounts look nice. I've seen some pretty shady setups back there.

There's just something awesome about the look of a VW pan. You can feel the ridges under the carpet in my Bug, so I love rubbing my foot on them while driving.
Okay......That just sounded REALLY weird Embarassed

Thanks. I too have seen some sketchy setups. This is one of the cleanest air ride installs I have done.

Its not a Mendeola Chassis, but I'm sure with all the blood, sweat, and tears it will handle better than the factory intended it to. POR-15ed New pans, Urethane bushings throughout, all new KYB shocks, tie rods, steering damper, brakes, F/R sway bars, etc. Will run 185-65-15 Falken ZE-512s all around on completely detailed Riverias. Iphone pic so not great quality.

Normally on the opposite side of the master cylinder but on that one, we are mounting it in the trunk.
