I took my 74 super to sear's so they could align it. They said if I had the spec's for the camber and toe they could align it. Do's any body have these spec's?

if i were you... i look for a new shop. but if they "say" they can do it with the right specs, id say just bring them the bently manual if you have it. it'll have all the specs they could ever need.

I don't have a bently I have every other book. I just went to sear's so I could use my card. Also it their a way I could set my camber at home I have one of those electronic angle readers at work. as this is the only thing that needs adjusted

I can't seem to say this enough times.

I would go to a real shop, not some chain store tire shop for alignment.

You can do your own alignment, the other guy gave you the specs.
Set the camber first, then if it changed a lot then you'll need to do the toe.
A hour at a good alignment shop, or all day at home to do it yourself if you have never done it before.

Took it down today man sears has the worst cust. service. They charged me 105 just to do the front. But it does handle like a go-cart. Here's what ive done with the suspension so far
front
topline sport plus springs & gr2 low pressure nitrogen struts
also did a disk brake swap

rear just gr2 shocks

Hi, I am a licensed class A tech that specializes in alignments. I am the one that originally posted the actual alignment charts to the samba for the cases where the "shop" does not have them.

Did they give you a printout of the final alignment settings?

If not it is too late. However if they did you can compare the settings to spec to make sure your tires will last. Excess toe in the front will make it handle like a gocart and wear tires fast.
