Why don't you drop the '68 body onto your automatic pan, install your dual Solexes and some Cal look el cheapovich seals for now, and go?

How cheap is a "cheap commuter car" on your planet? On the other hand, that info will probably just make me angry. Laughing

Because I can do the notch in less time, with less time for now. I know it will be sound... then I can take my time on the squareback to do it right and not rushed.

Well, I have all the turbo stuff off the engine and the DCNFs back on. Just awaiting the battery to charge to fire it off and re-time it with the non turbo distributor.
I have a car show 150 miles away to attend on Saturday, then I will be driving to Colorado in a couple weeks...

The turbo stuff is going on the 1835 after I return.

Went for a test drive... need to adjust the fuel pressure a touch, route a breather line better and clean the car. oh, and hook up the LM-1 since it doesn't have a power source hooked up.

Since my speedo has never worked, the tach helps with keeping speed in check since I know my RPM vs. speed numbers

the driveway looked really good this morning! Three flat 4s and our flag. Nice way to start the morning.

I think I am going to put the Split Second a/f meter in tonight in the notch. It is a narrow band, but that's okay. It will just be another way to look to see if something suddenly changes. I have the thing already set up for the LM-1, so it should be a quick swap.
