Post up pictures of your fast trikes. If you have a matching rattail throw that picture in here too.

No sir, a Trike and a Mulholland looker present a conflict of interest. While some may view both as equally tacky, they both have distinct characteristics which musn't be left out of a proper build. That being said, here is a list of proper trike building techniques assembled by UZI and I at a Trike Show less than 2 weeks ago. Along side will be the conflicts associated with the Mulholland look.

1. Loud Pipes (No conflict, however a proper Mulholland will probably use a 4 tip)

2. Flamed Paint (No Mulholland should ever, ever have flamed paint. Flames are what separate the classy Miami folks from the backwoods Dade County Folk)

3. Long, Chrome Handle Bars (While a car doesn't have handle bars, it would be similar to the steering wheel. A proper Mulholland steering wheel would have to be functional and good looking, so a color matched 3 Spoke fits the part.

4. A skull. Just to let passerbys know you're the king of the road. (Skulls are a big, big Mulholland no-no. Not a single woman in the world wants to get in the back seat of your Bug and look up to see a human head, turn's them right off.)

5. Luggage Box. It must be known that your trike is not a trailer queen, and to do so you must have proof that you can live out of it. A luggage box a least 5 cubic meters will suit the job. (No need for a luggage box, so we will cover the dos and don'ts of Mulholland trunk design. Minimal room for gear. This means a Speaker set-up behind the rear seat, and in the truck should be a matched carpet kit, a disc changer, NO TOOLS! [no lady wants to ever believe your shiny, pastel beast has a chance of breaking] and some sort of pillows, blankets, ruffies to keep just in case a woman is in the mood.)

6. Finally, every trike needs an intimidating driver, someone with nuts and a lack of caution, I recommend Heroin to do the job. (A Mulholland driver needs to be on top of their game, ready to pounce on anything with long hair, therefore I recommend crack. Keeps you cool and fits the proper era of your vehicle.)

Hope this helps Roach, sorry it was so long, but I felt you needed to know for when I reach Cali and start having school the West Coast tricks on proper build patterns.

Nice Spook.

There are some folks building some pretty cool trikes out there. That 70's bullshit is fun to laugh at, but a VW powered trike could be cool. Maybe if the motor was up front like the VW powered motorcycles, with a couple of big-ass carbonaters trying to suck the jeans off of the back of your legs. I'm liking it...
Like this x2.

Dude, that was a very well executed post. I can see that you've really put some serious thought into the behavior patterns of the Trikers and the Mulholland guys. I understand completely now, it really does make a lot of sense. Thanks! I guess you could possibly create a Mullholand trike. But you wouldn't be staying true to the spirit of the trike, what with leaving the flames and skulls off.. And you would probably get laughed at in traffic.

Honestly....

Isn't it 287 times cooler when you see something that you never thought could look cool,....look cool? I must be the only one tired of looking at resto customs.

"Hi, this is my first post. My name is Dumass V Wonthebrain. I just got this 60 beetle, I think I'm going to paint it, lower it, and order some wheels out of a catalog for it. What do you think?"

Whoa...... don't hold back on us there, buddy. Maybe you should get some earlies for it too.

You don't have to build a sorkelstang to be different. It just takes a little class and ingenuity.

You're preaching to the choir, man! You've seen my deerslayer, I've never pulled up next to any VW like it. And the lowlight isnt' going to be a cookie-cutter car either....

Just busting your balls, that's all. To be honest, 99% of the time I love the pictures you post on thesamba.

Actually, yeah. I like the CAR pics, but when you start posting the shirtless guys, and banana hammocks and shit, I no longer approve. Luckily, you only seem to do that in the middle of the night, and the mods tend to delete those posts pretty quick.
