What does that plate mean again?

U.S. Forces Germany / U.S. of America Military Forces in Germany.

The most common ones were the "U.S. Forces in Germany" plates.

My question was an inside joke with Dave about the lettering sequence.

No it is actually taken in Garraf, 30km south of Barcelona. There is a 15km long curvy road that goes next to the beach with amazing views all the way long

this is my wifes 52. She has always called it Boragaurd kazoo ,She bought it in about 1972. The pink beatle was her first car and the 52 her second. When we got married she still had the 52 , was driving a 60 cab, and co-owned with an old boyfriend a 65 911. We drove the 911 to florida on our honeymoon after I bought out the old boyfriend. I was a piker with a 60 roadster. The only one we still have is the 52. In about 2006 I saw the 911 in gary kemptons yard at his shop in florida.

Cool, thanks for sharing. I'd say you did well with your wife and the 52.

I noticed you edited this post from 2014 today so I'm quoteing it because no one will know you added pics to something so old.

Nice car!

My first Porsche and I already screwed up in the 356 Porsche Forum by posting a pic in the 356 photo sticky instead of the Pre-A photo sticky Rolling Eyes. Oh well, I'll learn... Very Happy

Anyway, here's the ol' beater. A 1955 1500 Pre-A Continental in Turkish Red. I'm sure I'll have a BUNCH of questions as I become familiar as a newbie Porsche owner. But my ACVW experience goes back a LONG time.
